Assata Ash-Shakoor
Marketing Assistant
Assata Ash-Shakoor brings a creative yet analytical edge to her role as a Marketing Coordinator at TriVistaUSA Design. With a background in public relations, sales, marketing and business operations, she thrives at the intersection of content creation, data analysis and brand building. Her go-getter mindset and natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life have all shaped her professional journey to this stage of her career.

Raised in Maryland, Assata credits her diverse upbringing in shaping her ability to connect with people from all backgrounds. Exposure to different cultures, cuisines, and social issues sparked a lifelong curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and grow. Assata carried this passion into college, graduating from Towson University with a degree in strategic public relations and business administration. During her time at Towson, she has gained exceptional leadership and communication skills through various leadership roles. Assata also divided her time giving back to her community by volunteering at local food shelters and fundraising donations for families impacted by breast cancer. After graduation, she continued her impact by working as a charity events marketer in the nonprofit sector and as a social media assistant, further strengthening her skills in community engagement and digital storytelling.

Outside of work, Assata is an avid sports fan who never misses a chance to cheer on her favorite teams. Go Ravens! Naturally curious, she loves exploring new spots around the city, spending time with friends, capturing moments through photography, and unwinding with a good book. She also enjoys diving into a fresh LEGO build and challenging herself by experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. The most recent being a vegan spaghetti squash!
