Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of residential construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

RESPONSIBLITIES 

 

  • Scope and scheduling of projects

  • Maintaining quality control and craftsmanship: internal labor, suppliers and trade contractors

  • Scheduling and passing county/city inspections

  • Completing all projects with the goal of being on budget, on schedule and having a raving-fan client

  • Prepare cost to complete on bi-weekly basis

  • If job site does not have a site supervisor or lead carpenter, then those roles are taken over by the Project Manager

  • Confirms sales package is complete – work with OM, estimate and scope or work, job book review, ask questions

  • Generate repeat business from raving fans

  • Keep the clients informed in a timely and calm manner

  • Create calm in chaos

  • Achieve yearly budgeted goals

  • Make sure change orders are sold, signed, collected and complete

  • Participate in continued training, to be agreed upon with owner and PM.

  • Safe job sites, manage safety program

  • Provide requested information by client/PDM/Designer/Owner within 24 hours

  • Answer all correspondence received by 3pm on same business day.

  • Advise Owner of any scheduling problems/impacts on cash flow

  • Realistic, positive solutions-oriented disposition

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5+ years of relevant experience in construction 

  • Background in remodeling is preferred 

  • PMP designation is a plus
