Boyd began his extensive knowledge of home construction and renovation experience while growing up in Warren County, VA. As he gained an indispensable reputation among Virginia area builders, Boyd simultaneously pursued an information technology degree and worked with government agencies.

 

We are thankful his enjoyment of hands-on carpentry and the flexibility of being outdoors lured him back to construction management, where Boyd looks forward to delivering a great product from start to finish.

 

A consummate family man, Boyd loves racing with his young kids on dirt bikes and crafting projects with them in his woodworking shop. 

What is your ideal weekend getaway?

Camping trip (if I can convince my wife, Carrie, to sleep in a tent) or going to a winery with my wife (if Carrie won’t budge on the tent).

 

What is the best advise you have been given?

Do it right the first time and always save for an emergency.

 

What is on your bookshelf?

Building code manuals, Stephen King, and home plan books.

 

Which 3 people would you invite to dinner?

Carrie, Camrohn, and Caoilyn- my immediate family.

 

If you knew you couldn’t fail what would you do?

I really enjoyed drag racing when I was younger. Building race cars and driving them would be incredible.
