Carlos Mejia
Project Architect
From a young age, Carlos Mejia’s passion for drawing, art, and design laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to architecture and construction. Growing up in Northern Virginia, he remained deeply connected to his community while earning his bachelor’s degree from The Catholic University of America. Over the past three decades, Carlos has become a true jack-of-all-trades, cultivating a distinguished career that spans architectural visualization, graphic design, motion graphics, high-end residential design, design-build services, project management, construction administration, and overseeing every phase of construction from inception to completion.

With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of building science, Carlos ensures that each project is not only functional but also aesthetically refined. His extensive experience in high-end residential work has fueled his passion for innovative building techniques that prioritize efficiency, safety, performance, and beauty.

Beyond his work in design and construction, Carlos is a leader in both his industry and his community. A dedicated youth basketball coach, he spends his weekends mentoring the next generation of athletes. Outside of coaching, you’ll find him in the kitchen perfecting his family’s legendary paella recipe—an age-old tradition passed down through generations. Whether sketching design details on a napkin, crafting custom furniture, carving down ski slopes with his kids, or traveling the world to experience architectural wonders, Carlos approaches each new endeavor with the same passion and creativity that define his career.
