This Arlington kitchen transformation creating a space that better supported how they cook, bake, and gather with friends and family. Their original galley kitchen featured beautiful elements, but the layout felt tight and separated from the home’s main living areas. With limited space for multiple cooks and little connection to the adjacent social areas, the kitchen no longer supported the way they wanted to use their home.

Our team reimagined the kitchen to create a more open, functional layout that seamlessly connects the kitchen with the surrounding living and dining spaces. By expanding the kitchen footprint and opening the space toward the home’s main gathering areas, the design now encourages conversation and flow between cooking, dining, and entertaining.

The renovation also reflects the homeowners’ aesthetic preferences. Clean-lined cabinetry and new flooring brings warmth and cohesion to the space. A mix of natural materials, such as including a rich wood island base, bright quartz countertops, and subtle tile detailing around the cooking area creates a balanced and inviting design. Today, the kitchen functions as the heart of the home, connecting effortlessly with the adjacent living and dining areas.
